Our Story
In 2017, Donnie and Reagan began their first restoration project in Taylorstown, Virginia, transforming a historic local store into what is now Springs Store Cottage. Their vision was to breathe new life into a beloved landmark while honoring its original character.
The success of the cottage revealed a growing need for unique accommodations across Loudoun County—home to celebrated wedding venues, wineries, breweries, and scenic trails. Both natives of Waterford, Virginia, Donnie and Reagan now live on Donnie’s family land, where they are raising their family.
With Donnie’s background in general contracting and construction and Reagan’s decade of hospitality experience, their work blends craftsmanship with warm, thoughtful hosting. They prioritize restoration and preservation, reusing original materials and wood whenever possible, while Reagan’s eye for interior design brings each space to life.
Today, their portfolio spans charming cottages, cozy cabins, and a carefully crafted treehouse. When they’re not working on a new project, they enjoy family time with their yellow lab, Indy. Above all, they take pride in creating memorable guest experiences and caring for every stay with dedication.
